Steve Buss – Founder/MD

Following university Steve’s first foray into the advertising world was at Young Guns in Soho. His multi-talented nature meant he became designer, art worker and tea boy rolled into one! Two years later he made the giant leap (3000miles) to head up British Virgin Islands design agency DDTA. On returning to the UK his witty chat and natural charm (so he says) impressed headhunters so much that one of them hired him on the spot. Over the next few years he honed his skills at such agencies as Major Players and Source. Finally In 2009 his lifelong ambition was realised, RedSofa was born. The rest is history!  Email him sbuss@redsofalondon.com

Kate Kentish – Account Management

Since then she has developed a speciality within the integrated communications agency sector – working with most of London’s agencies and with account handlers – from account executive to very senior level. Kate has joined Red Sofa to look after Account Management. Email her

Based on a great foundation of journalism and product design, Richard has spent the last twenty years powering up to become one of London’s most respected, connected and ‘cool’ recruitment consultants. He is no stranger to RedSofa, literally, having lived in Shoreditch for many years. In fact that he was one of the first men in the area to grow a beard so it could be argued he’s cooler than we are! Anyway we welcome him home and can’t wait to see all his experience, talent and style swing into action. When he’s not whizzing along with the latest tech and doing vital face-to-face meetings Richard has two great passions in life, films and music. Ask him anything on Italian Horror Films 1965-73 or on Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry’s latest musical offering and you’ll see what a mastermind he is. How cool is that! Email him rmaddox@redsofalondon.com

Clutching her degree in Psychology and Criminology Rachel joined us nearly two years ago. In that time to say she has a firm grip on the running of RedSofa is an understatement. She gets things done before anybody realises they need doing! In what little spare time Rachel has she loves going to the gym and clubbing. Her overwhelming love though is travel. India, China, USA, Canada, Mexico you name it she’s probably been there. Even when in these far away places she always knows exactly what’s going on, Rachel misses nothing! Sarah Anderson – Office Nanny

Sarah’s life in the ad world started with a bang with her landing a job at the heart of ‘hip’ ad agency Karmarama . Having absorbed all the ins and outs of this ‘hot shop’ she moved up to a position in a major recruitment agency, staying there for over a year. After this her only way to go was all the way to the top, RedSofa! Sarah loves life and loves music, although only 5ft tall her big personality shines out at every gig she goes to. Above all though she’s a great fan of angel cakes, she can’t get enough of them. With Sarah it looks like RedSofa really can have it’s cake and eat it too! Email her sanderson@redsofalondon.com

The Kids

The Kids, also known as Medusa and Zeus like to think they are the RedSofa security team. Their skills include bag handling, quality control and surveillance. Occasionally mistaken for being a bit gobby they enjoy spreading the love, curling up and stealing the odd sandwich.

Dunder – The Kid

Dunder has taken to creative recruitment effortlessly. He enjoys nothing more than sitting on newly-cleaned sofas, chewing on assorted office items he steals from the consultants. Affectionately nicknamed Blunder, due to his knack for running headfirst into stairs/doors/desks and not knowing how to control his appendages, he has become a very loving and cuddly member of the team. He has a particular ‘interest’ in Rosie the office nanny, but the less said about that the better.
